The Western Charles Chargers Organization is working hard to provide a safe and fun environment for the children of our community to participate in Football and Cheerleading.
We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization with hopes of inspiring greatness in our youth in whatever goals they choose now and in the future. We exist only through the generosity of our caring volunteer parents, registration fees, fundraisers, and sponsorship. We are building a premier youth football & cheerleading program in the Charles County Independent Youth Football League, but we need your help to be an organization of superior standing. We are an organization for the community of Charles County residents but without the families we cannot be successful.
2014 Registration Information!!!
Registration will be held every weekend from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at:General Smallwood Middle School 4200 Indian Head Hwy, Indian Head, MD. Cost: $175 for new players and $150 for all returning players (the lowest fees in Charles County) Multiple child discounts are available Registration is held every Saturday of the month from 9am-1pm **** If you choose to register 0nline, payments must be made in person at one of the above registration events.
All football players must have a Maryland state issued ID card before weigh-in on 16 August 2014. A letter is currently being generated so that the parents can present it to the MVA and receive the ID card that day instead of waiting for it to be sent through the mail. When the letter is complete, it will be posted on the website and it will also be sent via email.
Practice uniforms will be handed out on 31 July 2014 and 1 Aug 2014 from 6pm to 8pm. The location for this event will be at the WCC storage container which is located behind the Indian Head Pavilion.
***Before a player receives a uniform, a $50 deposit must be paid. ***
The $50 is included in the player registration payment which has to be paid in full by 19 August 2014.
Player weigh-in will be on 16 August 2014 at Mathew Henson Middle School, 3535 Livingston Road, Indian Head, MD 20640. Players must be present with ID card and lined up by 9:30 a.m... If you miss the 16th, there will be a make-up weigh-in on 23 August 2014 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the same location. There will be a $10 fee for the make-up weigh-in.
